I remember the visits Bill made to Eric Lautenschlager when Eric got elderly and needed to be at a home with support. Eric enjoyed the visits and Eric's children were very appreciative of Bill making visits as Bill was a connection to Eric's past. Both Eric and Bill liked to talk about the "good old days" and they had lots of stories to tell as they passed on their history to the younger generations.
