Remember Cy at St. John's Preston. Ron Parsons remembers all the late nights when he was Verger and went over to lock up the church and he and Cy would have lots of conversations. Are thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. God Bless

My sincere condolences to the Ladds family. Cy was our rector at Saint Georges in London Ontario and was a wonderful teacher to the teens that attended. He made a point of having the teenagers engaged in their faith.

I feel lucky having had the opportunity to meet with Cy at least once a year for the past 20 years or so. I sit here smiling as I recall a memory of Cy, the HERO. His cat-like driving reflexes quite possibly saved my life (and a few others) as we spun around in circles on the 401 some 35 years ago.

While studying the history of The Church of St. John the Evangelist as a seminarian I came across some old newsletters and I was struck by Archdeacon Cy's deep, sensitive, and often prophetic writing. It was an honour to assist him at a funeral he officiated, and of course an immense honour to be appointed to St. Andrew's Memorial where he once served as rector. May the family experience God's comfort and peace at this time.
