Dear Jane and Family: My sincerest sympathy on Clarence's passing. He was a fine example of a man whose faith truly enabled him to serve others and make life better for everyone. Marg and I always enjoyed our get togethers in K-W and Toronto: hiking through our ravine and attending Amanda's art show. And I've appreciated your calls since Marg passed, Jane. I hope you can find comfort as I have in knowing your spouse, father, grandfather and friend is no longer suffering. May you move toward acceptance with the help of your faith, memories and each other. Sincerely Bob Hoops, Vancouver.

Clarence was always a pleasure to chat with at our family gathering at Rob and Val's for Thanksgiving, Christmas and birthdays. We didn't get to know him as well as we would have liked, but his kindness and genuine interest in our lives - even though we only saw him once every few months - was something we deeply value and will never forget. Thinking of everyone during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear about Mr Damsma! I remember visiting the Damsma household in my teens and I think of Val's Dad fondly. He was very active in the church and making sure that everyone was well taken care of. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. My thoughts are prayers are with you Mrs Damsma, Val, Rob, Jesse, Colin ,Pete and Mark.
