im heart warmed by everything people have sent, my mother willl be missed dearly as a friend, family member or lover to greg graham. she now joins her mother (and her cats) and is watching over me, my brother, my dad and all who were close to her. we miss her a lot, she made me feel accepted and same with so many others. im so grateful to know her, and be her adoptive daughter. sometimes i have breakdowns at night, only being able to think of her. she was accepting to me when i came out and was accepting to those she helped at her work. i am gabby graham, the adopted child of antonel graham, i just stummled across this and decided to leave a comment, rest in peace mother, cancer may have of taken you, but you were always a fighter- and you still are.

Dear Graham Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences. We are all heartbroken and struggle to come to terms with the sudden loss of a very special individual.
Antonel was a kind, supportive, caring person whose calm presence helped clients and co-workers alike. I enjoyed both work related talks and long personal conversations with her about family, life, parenting. She was genuine and wise and exuded trust and integrity. I always walked away with a sense of peace and felt encouraged after talking to her. She was brave and outspoken when it came to the welfare of others and gave of herself freely. She was truly a blessing for the Region and a great colleague that will be missed in the office.
I will honor her by remembering her beautiful example: a smile can light up a person's day!

Antonel was such a sweet soul. I met her 10 years ago when I started at the region. A few years later we moved to intake together and got to know each other on a different level. She shared so many stories with me about her family who she dearly loved and was so proud of. She shared many funny stories and made me laugh so often. She was a shoulder to lean on, someone to trust in and always honest when you needed her to be. I will forever be impacted by her presence in my life. My thoughts are with you and please know she will always watch over and guide you.

I remember Antonel's ever present gentle and quiet manner, friendly smile and wise and encouraging words. She was a special soul who helped many meet life's challenges with respect and her own with dignity. This is a tragic loss for her family, friends and current and former colleagues. God Bless.

I remember when I first started my job at the Region I was in the same team as Antonel. Being very fresh at the job, no doubt presented some challenges. Antonel however was amazing and helpful. She constantly offered her help and would check to see how I was getting on. What is most outstanding is her warm, welcoming and calm demeanor which made her very approachable. She truly is a very beautiful soul and the kind of a colleague that we all want to have.

Antonel was consistently kind and gentle. You always knew what you were getting when you encountered her. She was, for sure, the kind of Colleague that made the workplace a better environment to be in.

My dearest friend Antonel is gone. What is left is a boat load of great memories over the past 29 years. Antonel had a calm warm demeanor and a witty sense of humour. She was so proud of her children. She was a natural at motherhood. She loved watching Garret play soccer. Her and Gabby had their special mommy daughter days. Although we didnt see each other much we easily caught back up. And now she is not there for me call up and grab lunch. Angels only stay with us for a short time. I am so proud to have called her friend.

Antonel, was a first cousin of mine and I'm very sorry that I never really got to know her. I hear so many lovely stories of her and feel like I've lost a piece of my heart. I did meet her on several occasions and I'm glad for that blessing. Even thou we didn't share a close relationship, she will always be remembered as my youngest cousin who will remain forever in my prayers. Rest in peace, sweet angel. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family… much love Always Mr & Mrs Mimmo J. Zicari

Greg, Garrett, Gabby and the family of Antonel:
My heart goes out to you all in your time of sorrow. Antonel was an incredible, caring woman whose warmth and generosity was unrivalled and will be missed greatly by her friends, colleagues and the persons she served.
Love and pride beamed on her face as she spoke of her husband, her Garrett and then her Gabriella. What I will remember the very most is how she always spoke of her family, enjoyed and shared their time together as well as the little idiosyncrasies that made the rest of us Mom's giggle in understanding.
Antonel's passing is a heartbreaking loss. My condolences to all struggling with her loss.

Antonel will always hold a special place in my heart. Antonel and I were on the same team when my twins were born. This team, this work family, helped me welcome two very special babies into this world and my life. Antonel was a very special part of that team. She brought warmth, kindness, calm, and an overall really beautiful vibe. Then and always and even more everyday, she cared about the people around her, she cared deeply about her work (those she helped) and loved her family oh so much. It was a pleasure and privilege to be around and work with Antonel. Antonel, you shall be dearly missed but always remembered.

Antonel left a huge void in our world. She was an inspiration to me and my family - she supported and encouraged me never to give up on my adoption. We would often laugh about our kiddos and she always had an impeccable glimmer of spark when she spoke about her children. Here is a picture taken last December before she started a new position where she focused entirely on supporting the lives of youth within our community. Soar high Antonel :)
