A loss that we will all feel -- Paul was such an asset to our congregation. My strongest memory of him, is how he always took a deep breath before offering an opinion on church topics. His wisdom and experience were appreciated.
I'd also add that his life clearly illustrated the linkage through the generations for all of us -- he displayed the rich legacy that his parents bestowed on him, and his and Ruth's children were without a doubt blessed in turn by the nurturing they received.
May Paul's passing remind everyone that the goodness of life is something we all inherit, after all, and something that can be enhanced in how we celebrate it!
