Dear Jean and family:
On behalf of the Desautels Faculty of Management of McGill University, I am writing to extend to you our deepest condolences on the passing of your husband. Please know that our thoughts are with you and your family at this most difficult time.
We mourn Bill’s passing, but we also know that his incredible influence lives on. We feel so proud to have counted him as one of our faculty members. He embodied every quality that we aspire to teach our students: a strong sense of ethics that guided his business decisions, critical thinking, humility, and diligence. His positive imprint across this University will be felt in perpetuity, and the way in which he led his life will be an example for all of us to follow.
McGill and the Desautels Faculty of Management are so very fortunate to have known and worked with him, and I certainly feel privileged to have worked with him at McGill.
