Obituary of Jane Florence McIntyre

McIntyre, Jane Florence

Jane Florence McIntyre (Johnson), 75 of Kitchener, Ontario passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, September 14th at Sunnyside Long Term Care Residence. Funeral services will be held in Dresden Ontario at the cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her mother.

Jane was born in Toronto Ontario to Harold and Florence (Clarke) Johnson on March 14th, 1945. She spent most of her childhood and youth raised in London Ontario where we all share our fondest memories of her. Jane was a member of the Salvation Army Church for many years and lived her life practicing her faith.

Jane was a devoted mother to her daughters and an astounding grandmother (Beema) to her 5 grandchildren. She loved to play the piano, sing, bake and was very gifted at making crafts for any occasion. Her sarcasm and silliness will be missed by all who knew her.

Jane is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Mclntyre (Ed) of Chatham. Catherine McIntyre (Sylvain) of Ottawa, Stephanie Mclntyre (Johannes) of Kitchener, her grandchildren Brittany, Dominique (Hayden), Avary, Mitchell and Isaak, her younger brother James Johnson of London (nieces Bonnie and Wendy).

She is predeceased by her parents Harold and Florence Johnson and her baby brother Thomas (Tommy).

The family wishes to thank Sunnyside Long Term Care for the astounding care she received while in their facility. We would also like to thank Erb & Good Funeral Home for your assistance in this difficult time.

Jane fought a losing battle with Parkinson's disease and it took a huge toll on her both physically and mentally and we find peace in knowing she is where she has longed to be in Heaven with her Saviour and her family. She will forever be in peace.

We ask that any memorial donations be made to the Parkinson Canada and may be arranged through the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo www.erbgood.com or by calling 519-745-8445.
