Obituary of Violet Barratt

Violet passed away, with family by her side, in the ICU of Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at the age of 68.

Violet is survived by her loving husband David Keeping, daughters Lisa Crane and Cherie Haridin, mother Burchlene Barratt, brothers Clement, Frankie, Donald and Samuel, sisters Ivy and Carmen, and grandchildren Sophie and Emily.

Predeceased by her father William Barratt and sister Linda.

Violet had many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who adored her. She always enjoyed being surrounded by the love of family.

Violet has been received by God in heaven, greeted by those who went before her, and has now become one among angels where her kindness will live forever.

Following a private family viewing, cremation will take place.  A private family celebration of Violet’s life will be held.
