I am sorry for your loss.
I was interviewed by John for the position of Field Co-ordinator (in Ottawa) in the Co-op department. I knew immediately that I would enjoy working with him and spent the best 15 years of my working life with John and fellow employees at U of Waterloo.

I was sorry to learn of John’s passing. He was a wonderfully caring human being. I taught John as an undergraduate and dealt with him on occasion in his capacity as administrator of the Engineering Co-op Program at UW. He was always a sympathetic listener. My condolences to John’s family.
