I came across his obit when I googled his name, I was curious how he was doing…I was saddened to hear of his passing. I thought the world of both Bob and Bev. They both shared a joie de vie that I admired. While moving from Toronto to Dryden in northern Ontario took me away from my family in the area, I always looked back with a smile as I remembered my time with the two of you. Thanks to both and RIP Bob.

What can I say about Bob? A positive attitude, we can do this!
A big smile when he meets you. A big dreamer - Some even came true.
Not a follower, not afraid to take a chance. Loves animals, animals love him back.
Loves Bev. Bev loves him back. Many friends, me for one. No enemies - Big Thing. Generous with his knowledge, bigger than life? Yes! Can smash a garlic clove!
Bob will brighten up Heaven! God bless you my kind friend. Your buddy, Grant

I'm so happy that I've had the pleasure to know Bob through Bev. Their door and hearts have always been open for me and others. My life has been better for this friendship. I'm going to miss Bob's post on facebook and his rants. LOL. Always a good friend and a great sense of humour. I miss you Bob and pray you rest in peace. Until we meet again and have a drink together, Rest in Peace. Love you.

Bob and Bev were special friends of the Rose family. Bob will be missed by all of us. Deepest sympathy and prayers Bev and Charles during your time of mourning. As I reflect upon the times with Bob and Bev, I recall many humorous events, events of celebrations (birth of children), Christmas's together, baptism's, weddings the list goes on. Bob and Bev are Godparents to our youngest child Jacqueline, but also treated our other two children (Krystle & Adam) with love, like one of their own. Bob loved to entertain, cook, be part of community, spoil Bev on her birthdays with well organized parties. I had the privilege with visiting Bev yesterday (Thursday) and listened to her memories of Bob. I even got to sit in Bob's chair while visiting. Life is a journey, one that is shared with others. Friends are teachers, mentors, help us through tough times, we help celebrate a friend's life when they pass on to a a new place. Our thoughts may drift from time to time how we miss them, wish they were here, and we shed tears, through the tears we see gratitude that we were able to know this person and know that they touched our hearts. At the end of their journey they teach us acceptance and understanding of life.
Bob we were blessed to know each other....Love, Murray, Jan, Krystle, Adam, Jacqueline and their families...
