A kind and gentle soul who cared deeply for her family and treated her daughter-in-law like her own daughters and her grandchildren as if they were her own children.
Our Mother/Grandmother lived a full life and had a peaceful passing.
One could not ask for more for her or for her children and grandchildren.
In our hearts forever, Love, Nicholas, Susan, Jeremy & Leah

During many years of her adult life, Mom was part of a multi-generational family that lived and worked together. It took tremendous cooperation and compromise by all to provide for us, the third generation of children. There were times when Mom endured an 80-hour split-shift work week to keep the Cado Restaurant open for business. On the home front, she was one of three cooks working in the same kitchen alongside her sister-in-law (Tante Carol) and mother-in-law (Ma), preparing dinner for our extended family of eleven. Like other mothers, Mom encouraged my brother and me to invite our highschool friends to our house. She was famous for her Black Forest cake to top off our progressive parties. Mom was open-minded and non-judgemental of people and truly enjoyed the company of others. I have a lifetime of wonderful memories of her, but my overall remembrance is of her unconditional love and encouragement to succeed. Love always, Diane Glencross

When we retired from Hawaii to Ft. Myers, we had 18 wonderful years with Mom & Dad. I can truly say I was blessed to have such a wonderful, caring, loving Mother & she will be sorely missed. Following are Prince Harry's words during Princess Diana's 10-Year Service & they could have been written about our Mom: "Mom was our guardian, friend and protector. She encouraged us when we were nervous or unsure. She never once let her unfaltering love go unspoken or undemonstrated." You will be missed by all those who knew & loved you. Love, Carol & Gordon Armstrong
