My deepest condolences. I got to know Ben in the decade + that I worked at Luther Village on the Park. He was an absolute delight to be around - from his amazing sense of humor to his tremendous stories. It was always a good day when your path crossed Ben's. Ben will be sorely missed by all.

Lou, Tracy, and family.
So very sorry to hear of your father's passing. I had the absolute privilege and pleasure to get to know 'Ben' when I worked at Luther Village, without knowing he was your father :)
Ben was ALWAYS, without fail, gracious, charismatic, charming, and had a zest for life that was admired by everyone. He never complained; he was grateful for every day, and he was very proud of his family as he mentioned you often. I think most of the female residents had a crush on him, and understandably so.
I am sure the wonderful memories you have of him will carry you through your grief. Heaven gained a wonderful man.

My heart and prayers go out to Ben's family and loved ones. I met Ben at the bible studies that were held at Luther Village and he and I became fast friends. Whenever we saw each other he would give me a big hug and tell me what a wonderful girl I was for taking such good care of my parents, who were also at the Sunshine Centre. He was always in my thoughts and prayers, everyday, and I will greatly miss him.

Thank you Christine. My dad loved chatting with everyone on Cedar Bend and loved talking with you and Ian. It's great to have those memories and I thank you for reaching out.

Thank you Gail. he loved his bible studies and truly had faith that couldn't be shaken. More than faith in God, faith in himself his family and everyone around him. Thank you for making a big impact on him as he loved his bible study time.
