I think that all of us that knew Yara will always remember how sweet and gentle person she was. Always with a smile in conversations and a warmth which always preceded her. Yara will always be dearly missed.

Dear Ed, We are shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Yara’s passing. We’ve been neighbours for so many years and will miss seeing her out walking the dog and stopping for a chat....Often in a conversation about our kids and grandchildren. Dear Ed, Lisa & Andrea and grandchildren: Sending our sincerest condolences to all at this very sad time. Jim has many fond memories of Yara from attending U of G along with many good times with Eddie. We had a good catch-up reunion a few years back at our home here in Walkerton and it was wonderful to see Yara & Ed again. Even though Yara was reserved and quiet, we always enjoyed our conversations with her, especially in hearing her fond stories about her daughters and grandchildren.
