I have fond memories of when Carol and her sisters Marlene and Audrey all sang in the choir at Christ Lutheran. They were devoted to one another and fun to sing with. Oz and I send our condolences.

My heartfelt condolences to all who knew & shared the unconditional love Carol emanated. As a close friend of Janis, over the years I came to know her mom through shared memories and stories of love and laughter in the Otterbein family. Stories that will be passed on for generations to come and her radiant gracious soul will live on forever.

My deepest sympathy to this beautiful family! Carol was a gem! As a back yard neighbor & best friend to Shelley & Jill I know that Carol always gave you a warm welcome & friendly smile. She was a true friend to my mom. They were always there for each other even after they moved a part. A friendly phone call always kept them up to date on their families. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Cherish all the beautiful memories, the laughs, the good times & the tears. Carol had a heart of gold & her soft spoken calming voice always put a smile on your face. She was truly a special caring gentle lady! God bless you all as you journey through the next few days. Love & hugs to all.

Dear Cousin Ed and Otterbein family...I want to express my deepest condolences to all of you on Carol's passing. It was wonderful getting to know and to worship with Carol (and Ed) in recent years and reminiscing about our family connection. Carol had the brightest, warm smile and it was always nice to see her. Carol, may your spirit fly high with God's heavenly choir. May the peace of Christ be with you until the day we are all reunited.
