My sincere condolences to Robert and family. Margaret was a very special woman. She had a gentle, kind spirit and was always quick to offer a hand to help whenever she could. She was one of the first staff members I met when starting at Laurier in 2006, and I will always remember her fondly. Rest in peace, dear Margaret. Gone too soon.

We will all miss dear Margaret .
Margaret wast very kind , gentle and thoughtful person. She always took time to greet us cheerfully and inquire about our well being, no matter how busy she was. To this day her greeting voice rings in my thoughts, as she would say, "Hi Mitali " with a cheerful gentle smile. She faithfully , patiently assisted all faculty assigned to her at a time when most operations were very manual, compared to the present times.

Margaret was a genuinely lovely, warm person. She was always interested in everyone's kids and pets, and happy to share stories about her beloved cats. We were saddened to hear of Margaret's passing. It was a joy to interact with someone so warm, positive, and cheerful. We all agree with the view expressed by one of our colleagues - my memory of Margaret brings to mind a quote from Maya Angelo: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Interacting with Margaret always made us feel good.

Robert, my sincere condolences to you. I consider Margaret a friend I will never forget. I always loved to hear about Jinx and Tux. I know that I admired her taking her daily walks at work. She sure could cover a lot of ground in a very short time!
I know that I have a couple of pictures that I will find and share, particularly some photos of Hallowe'en getups at work.

On behalf of the WLU Staff Association, our condolences to Margaret's family. While at Laurier, she volunteered with WLUSA as our gift coordinator. She would send cards and purchase gifts for staff about to retire as a thank you for their service. She will be greatly missed.

Margaret was a very special person, kind, quiet and unassuming. She never spoke a bad word about anyone. She also had a wonderful sense of humour (all the Halloween photos when she dressed up with her office). She will be greatly missed. My condolences to her family.

Dear Robert,
My sincerest sympathy on the loss of your beloved sister Margaret. I worked with Margaret at Laurier for many years and she often spoke of you. Margaret was always kind and supportive, even when we (professors) were difficult. She went out of her way to show kindness, especially to my young daughter who would insist on seeing Margaret whenever she visited me at work.
Margaret was always a bright light in the office and I am sure, to everyone who knew and loved her. She will be missed!

It was wonderful having Margaret as my co-worker and friend for so many years. She was a kind gentle soul. After she retired we still kept in touch and would often go to the outdoor summer concerts at Castle Kilbride. She loved the music! I will remember Margaret singing along to the songs with a big smile on her face.

Margaret was the first assistant I had when I joined WLU in 1980 and I always made a point of saying hello, wishing her well, and simply asking her how she was doing long after she was promoted to our Chair;s office and then to other posts in the business school. A lovely lady and I am so very sorry to hear of her passing.

I appreciated the bright smile Margaret always had on her face while working at Laurier. It's so easy to picture her working at her desk, taking requests from faculty, and going about daily activities.
