Cindy was an inspiration to most she met. I remember her taking my brother and I out to sing at the Silver Spur. I was so scared as I have never sung in my life. She just kept on pushing gently and I finally tried one song. Well soon I became a fan of Karaoke and found myself filling in for a friend who hosted it at a downtown club.
That was Cindy. Spreading her own joy in a way that others could experience it too. Her loving hugs and warm, rich and compassionate nature brought us all together. She would treat me with a private one or two song concert in my basement sometimes.
What a wonderful Human, experiencing life she was. My deepest and most sincere condolences to all the family and friends that lost this light in the world to this tragedy.
Take those broken wings and learn to fly. It is your turn now.

Cindy always made me laugh and always listened, so many fun times. I am so saddened her life was ended too soon.
