What a privilege it has been to know and appreciate the faithful witness of Nabil to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And such a gracious host too, with his dear Antoinette bringing in ever more exotic dishes, They were charming guests at our home as well but wow, their swimming pool was COLD! To learn from Nabil, the consummate engineer, about GOD's infinitely more elaborate creation and from him as ex-Egyptian army officer about GOD's chosen people Israel (who he was sworn to fight once) prevailing over his battalions and crippled air force was exciting to this HIStory buff. We will miss him, but not for long because we too embrace the 1st Thessalonians account preached so well by Pastor Snell during the Livestream service. And thanks to Silvia for looking directly at the camera while appreciating those of us who would've loved to be there in person. We're praying much for Antoinette, her girls, their husbands and the grandchildren who so obviously loved their God fearing and eccentric grandfather.

No words can express our love and gratitude to both Nabil and Antoinette, true friends and wonderful brother and sister in Christ. We meet at Northside Baptist Church, and if we recalled correctly, on a Good Friday Service on April 6, 2007. Nabil said he couldn’t miss a Cuban doctor presentation on the “Medical Aspects of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ”. A wonderful friendship was born after that day. We shared a common interest in biblical prophecy, and had memorable times learning from God’s Word -many of these around their table. His care, love and generosity had no limits and we were blessed numerous times.
Nabil’s prayers were precious; he surely gave the Lord all the honour and glory. At the table, food could get cold, but he always started by numbering all the attributes of God, followed by thanksgiving, and then praying for all his children and grandchildren as well as ours -and each one by name!
We can’t wait to see him again and kind of wonder what arrangements will he do to the Garden in the New Jerusalem? LOL, he loved his little earthly garden and surprised us with new additions to showcase at each visit! It was heartbreaking to know someone stole his beautiful peacock.
Our dear friend and brother in Christ could not wait for the rapture and took an early flight. We are left behind in sorrow, waiting for the Blessed Hope when we’ll see him again and all our dear ones that have preceded us.
May our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ grant peace and comfort to our dear Antoinette, children Nirvana, Steve, Silvia, Tim; grandchildren Michaela, Katriel, Joshua, Natania, Noelle, Eden, Josiah and Jewel and all the extended family.
With all our love,
Cliff, Ivelis, Josh and Sam

My sincere condolences to Antoinette and family on the passing of Nabil.
I always found Nabil to be a very pleasant person and very interested in me and what I was doing, especially when I was on home assignment from Zambia. He loved the Lord's work.
May God grant you a sense of His love and peace through these difficult days.

Dear Antoinette and Family:
Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing to eternity of your beloved husband, father, and our dearest friend, Nabil.
It was a shock for us to hear that he died. Not even a week prior to his death we spoke with him on the phone. His voice sounded strong; he asked us to pray for his left eye. We assured him that he is in our daily prayers. We met the family back in the early nineties and from the first encounter we felt close and of one spirit. We know that one day we will be reunited!
In the meantime, Dearest sister in Christ, Antoinette, we will continue to pray for you, and we will keep in touch.
Love and Prayers, John & Stella
