EMRICH, Maria
Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, December 18, 2020 at the age of 96 years.
The family takes comfort in knowing Maria will now be joining the love of her life George, at the last dance in the sky. Left to cherish their memories of Maria are her children, Helmut and Katy, Dorothy and Philip, grandchildren; Christopher and Jennifer, David and Andrea, Katharina and John and Kimberly, great-grandchildren; Cierra, Brock, Katelyn, Joshua, Thomas, Evan, Breanna, Aidan, Michael, Cameron and Evelyn.
People will remember Maria as a friend with a compassionate heart and a member of the Transylvania Club. Maria enjoyed cooking and baking for her brood, tailoring her suits, sewing clothes for her family, embroidering her ethnic dresses, knitting and crocheting the kids blankets, gardening, reading, music, recounting stories to her family and friends and in her last years, those crazy word puzzles.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Sandy Shamon, who helped mom live her life to the fullest. To the palliative nurses Joanne and Pat that offered Maria comfort and support. A special heartfelt thank you to Lydia and Lindey whose care and compassion went far above and beyond PSW care. Mom considered you a family member and loved each and every one of you.
