Abigayle passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Monday, December 21, 2020, at the age of 8.

Loving daughter of Lee Ann (nee Cowan) & Kevin, dear sister of Faith, Ashley and Samantha. Forever in the hearts of Papa Norbert (Bob) Cowan, Papa and Grandma Larry and Eileen Lobsinger, Aunt Charlene & Uncle Butch Voisin and family, Aunt Jamie Fergusson and family, Uncle Dennis & Aunt Nancy Koebel and family, Aunt Bonnie & Uncle Paul Kieswetter and family, Uncle Wayne Lobsinger, and Uncle Keith Fischer.

Predeceased by her Grandma Eleanor Cowan.

For over 5 years, Abigayle battled a rare and aggressive form of cancer with courage, bravery and dignity. Abigayle loved life: swimming, her family, playing with her friends, outdoor fires and music.

Special thanks to McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton, Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton, Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto and the Helen DeVos Children’s Medical Centre in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You treated Abigayle like a rock star every time she was there and gave her the best possible care.

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 4 - 9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agnes RC Church, 75 Bluevale St. N., Waterloo on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. with the Most Reverend Wayne Lobsinger as Celebrant. Private family interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, to attend the Visitation or Funeral Mass for Abigayle, personal face coverings are required and relatives and friends must register (RSVP) by calling the funeral home at 519.745.8445.
