Chad, Dan and Christie My condolences on the passing of your mother, Carol. I had the privilege of being her (and your) family doctor for nearly 30 years- and in that time her intelligence, grace and devotion to family was always evident. She was truly a fine and gifted lady. Michael Pascoe

My thoughts and prayers are with Carol and her family during this very sad time. I had the privilege of hiring carol on to the staff of St. Micheal’s Preston back in the mid 80’s. Carol was returning to teaching after spending a number of years at home with her children. As her principal we worked closely together as she upgraded herself with her reading specialist and her eventual decision to become a satellite teacher for our board. Carol was loved by her students and respected by her parents. Later I was pleased to serve on committees with Carol when she was appointed to her principalship. We also had many discussions during her time at Our Lady of Lourdes as Lourdes was my first appointment as principal.
I cherish my memories of our friendship and am a better person for having known her.

I am so sorry to hear of the death of your mom. I was on the parent council at Our Lady of Lourdes elementary school when she became principal there. Getting to know her was a pleasure. She was both a wonderful person and teacher/leader for the kids. She was always fair with the decisions she made and seemed to put great thought into those decisions. RIP

Along with being roommates at two trips,
Carol also impressed me with her outgoing spirit, and how she fought for every breath.
I can now see her taking the deepest breath and having the deepest LAUGH, so deep , yet without fear of coughing ! That’s what she told me one night, a dream to laugh so hard , with enough breath! My heart, prayers & love are sent to the family. with your faith , , in time, ... will get through your deep loss and the great hurt will get easier! ...... Also, with your faith ....you know that she is running, laughing, breathing so easily now. You have 73 years of great memories, so May you ALWAYS treasure those! ....Treasure them Until that time comes, where God promises you will unite again! .....May you be comforted in knowing that Carol touched so many lives, .... so as you read posts from many, May they comfort you. Knowing she was loved from many in many countries! Knowing that, be assured of us, ...who have you in our thoughts and prayers, ....and who send gigantic hugs, with the promise of God. That ...You will one day reunite again!

Heartfelt condolences to Carol’s parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. Carol was a sincere friend, a colleague, a neighbour and a fellow adventurer. We travelled Australia’s Outback in 2001, camped out under the sky with the Southern Cross, sang with a Dingo, and ate ‘roo in Alice Springs. Carol lives on in many, many memories.
