July 24, 1929 - January 30, 2021

Our matriarch is at rest!

It is with profound sadness that we announce Dorothy has passed in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband George, parents George and Bernie, siblings Carol, Audrey, Ray, Dianne and Claude. 

 

Cherished Mother to Linda (Phil), Don (Wendy), Bob (Gail), Larry (Jackie) and Dave (Dianne), adored Nana to 19 grandchildren and 21+++ great grandchildren. Survived by brothers Lloyd (Celeste) and Bill (Mary), in laws Lloyd (Arlene), AnnaMae (Jim), Evelyn, Bob and Monica plus many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Dorothy was always busy sewing, baking, quilting, preserving, crafting, walking, dancing, playing cards but always had time for a kind word or helping hand wherever she was needed. Her smiling face was always evident and so welcome. She was always willing to help babysit her cherished grandchildren, who all adored her.

Due to Covid restrictions, a private burial has occurred with a much-anticipated celebration of her full, and rich life when it is safe to do so.
