Passed away peacefully at Morriston Park Nursing Home, Puslinch on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at the age of 87.

 

Liz is survived by her husband, Leslie Tako, of 59 years. Loving mother of Zoltan Tako, Gail Tako, and Judi Douglas (nee Tako) (Val Kerr).  She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Eric Douglas, Alexander Kerr and Samantha Kerr. 

 

Liz was born in Hungary August 31, 1933 and immigrated to Canada during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956 to make a better life for herself. Liz loved her family and friends and was loved in return and will be remembered by many. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost and treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. Oftentimes, Liz treated her children’s friends as one of her own. She was known as “Queen Elizabeth."

 

A special thank you to Morriston Park Nursing Home staff for all their love and support given to Elizabeth.

 

A private service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.  Relatives and friends are invited to view the live stream of the service at www.erbgood.com

 

Cremation will have taken place.
