My deepest condolences on the passing of your dear Mother. She was my grade 2 teacher at Queen Elizabeth School, the year she married your father. She had always been my favourite teacher, and I remember coming back to the classroom in September and having to call her by her new name. Best regards.

I cannot remember a visit to Katherine Cr that I wasn't scolded for chewing bubble gum and worse sharing it with all of you girls. Your mom reminded me of this the last time I bumbed into her at the bank, long before Covid. We would have a quick catch up on all you girls & whatever may have been happening with your families.
She was so proud of every family member, I'm sure you all know how much you were loved & cherished.
My thoughts go out to all of you as I know too well after losing my dear dad in 1996 and having lived with mom until her death in 2019 she was the glue that kept us in touch with one another. Fortunately for you, you're all girls and I truly believe we are better at keeping in touch.
Hold fast to your memories because they become more valuable as time goes by.
Sincerely, Heather Yule (The Bubble Gum Kid)

It’s hard to think of the Class family without remembering Carol. She loved her family with a passion! We worked together planning our sons wedding and has accepted our son David into the family along with the 3 grandchildren. We will all miss her.

David and I send our best wishes to all of the “Class Clan”. What a truly amazing and inspiring woman Carol was! We met in 1988 when I went over to Canada on a teacher exchange visit. I was so lucky to find my visit hosted by Carol and Paul and equally glad to welcome them to our home in Manchester the following year. We managed to meet three times in the years that followed. David and I and our daughter Emilie stayed with them again in around 1990 and we met in Southern Spain in the late nineties. Our last meeting was in October 2019 when we stayed in her beautiful condo for a couple of nights. She was always so welcoming, such fun and boy, could she organise! Whatever we wanted to do was planned and fixed before we had time to draw breath! We remember her with great affection and feel proud to have known her.

Carol was a dear friend and a wonderful travel companion.
We first met when I was a new teacher and she and Paul were newly married.
After retirement we became travel buddies when Carol invited me to join her on one of Jacques Pauwels' tours. We enjoyed cruises and exotic destinations usually two a year for nearly twenty years.
Carol will be greatly missed by her beloved family and all of her friends and associates.
My deepest sympathy to all who mourn her. I share your loss.

I shared many a soccer game, dance recital or school play through the years, sitting with Carol watching my girls, and Hannah, Julia or Tim together. Carol was also instrumental to introducing a close friend, Dennis Huss, to help with financial matters before my late husband, Sheldon passed away. Always kind, supportive and wise.

I first met Carol through a referral from her accountant. My connection was to provide assistance with financial matters and in particular investments.
Carol and I had an immediate good feeling for each other as we knew so many friends and acquaintances in common. Over many years Carol and I moved beyond the financial connection to one of genuine friendship.
I am so saddened to lose my good friend as I looked so forward to our visits and meetings. Such a tremendous person, bright, caring, thoughtful and one who had so much love in her heart for her family and friends. You could always count on Carol and whenever you first came into her company her smile would simply "melt you." Those who know Carol will understand what I mean. You will be missed Carol and I want to offer my most sincere sympathies to all of the family members and Carol's cherished friends.
