Aumt Louise was always a special sister to her brother Robert who always spoke fondly of his family in Canada. She was a wonderful hostess to John and I when we had the opportunity to visit her, and left us with sweet memories. I'm so grateful to have known her a little bit. Thank you for your memories, Christine. I love hearing about herr.

Aunt Louisa painted this Portrait of me in 1964. I was 7 yrs old.I have so many fond memories. I would like to share 2. We would often drop Grandma Millar off after Church and stay for lunch. Aunt Louise loved to teach me how to paint my toenails with Kleenex in between my toes and wash my hair with egg to help make it healthy and shine. Oh, and she would use her own makeup on my face, and dress me up in her clothes which were always so fashionable. She always made me feel beautiful even though I didn't think so. Another memory was when my Dad, her brother Douglas would pick up Bushels of Tomatoes, Onions, and Peppers and set up their work station in our backyard and make lots of jars of Chili Sauce which I continue to make today but never seems to taste as good as theirs. Grandma Millar would be lying on the Lounger in the shade having her 40 Winks.Love you so much Aunt Louise and I know you are in a Heavenly place and will always be watching over us.
Your Loving Niece Christine Johnson/nee Millar

I lived beside Louise on Marshall St. for about 4 years then I moved down below her in the triplex. She was a very compassionate neighbour. She was very good to my daughter Christine. I remember many good days with her and Gordon. I ran into her about 5 or 6 years ago at the Adult Rec Centre in Waterloo. It was very nice seeing her. She was a real gem.
