I have fond memories of growing up in Sudbury with the Cardamone family living in our neighbourhood. Our families were close and spent a lot of time together. Salvatore and my Dad had a lot in common. They both immigrated to Canada from Italy, worked at Inco, and were proud of their Italian culture. The subject of gardening, making homemade sausages and homemade wine often came up in their discussions. There were many good times and I’m glad they have now reunited again. Heaven has gained another angel whom my Dad and others have welcomed in with open arms.
Dear Lina, Laura, Marilena, Anthony & Luciano, there are no words to tell you how sorry we are for your loss. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your entire family at this difficult time. Salvatore will always be remembered as a good man who was dedicated to his family and someone who was loved dearly by his friends. May you find comfort in knowing that Salvatore touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
