Oh my God I just found out today! What a tragedy and a terrible disease. I lost my wife a few months ago also only 60 years old. Far too young. My heart felt condolences to everyone who was part of her life. My favorite memory of her was her beautiful water skiing at Chesley Lake. Poetry in motion!

Reid, we always ran into each other at the Mennonite Relief Sale in New Hamburg, me with my pies and you and Kathy heading in for plants. Miss those days and the two of you. We'll have to connect when this pandemic is all over. My deepest condolences on your loss. You were a rock for her. All the best my friend.

Reid, I was indeed saddened and shocked to learn of Kathy's passing. I did not know how she had been suffering in recent years. I guess that accounts for the fact Lois and I haven't run into the 2 of you at the market for quite some time. I have very fond memories of Kathy as a coworker and friend. She was one of a kind. May she Rest In Peace.

Kathy was a work colleague and friend for a number of years. I had so much respect for her and loved her sense of humour and practical advice. Her illness and passing is a great loss; I am so sorry. I hope time dulls the anguish you must be feeling, and your happy memories are a comfort.

I remember Kathy from Chesley Lake and then school. I have one funny memory of Kathy that stands out from all the others - I went on my first real “date” with Kathy. In grade 9 she invited me to the Sadie Hawkins dance. When we went she was so confident, happy and popular with everyone. Meanwhile I was shy, awkward and totally out of my league. Kathy was so kind about it and we stayed friends. I’m so glad. When I think of high school Reid and Kathy are always in my memories. Kathy was a wonderful, joy-filled woman and everyone who knows her will miss her greatly. My condolences to you Reid and to the rest of the family.

Kathy was the real deal, genuine, kind and so very funny. I remember fondly our sanity walks in the cemetery near SunLife where inevitably Kathy would say something that make us both crack up with laughter... she knew it was all “small stuff” before the book was even written. Reid & Kathy’s family I am so sorry for your loss, may your memories bring you comfort and may my sweet friend rest in peace.

One of my funniest memories was at Chesley Lake in our early teens. Jenny B and I (Carol Martin at that time) cruising in the boat. We met again at Bluevale, had many laughs there and reunited in later years at work ( Clarica now Sun Life). Kathy was a joy to spend time with and my deepest sympathies to you Reid, and all the family. Sincerely Carol Fehrenbach.
