Uncle Ed was a constant presence at our house growing up, and at the cottage in the summer months. I have so many memories of Christmas dinners at his farm, Thursday night TV watching the Dukes of Hazard and lazy days at the lake with big barbecues on the deck, and the treehouse in the front yard. He was a huge champion for getting an education and was a cheerleader during my starving student years. Tough as nails, with a heart of gold, you were dearly loved and you will be missed, Uncle Ed. My condolences to Bill, John, Alex, and everyone who loved him. May your memories of him serve as a salve during this time of grief. He’s likely enjoying a grand reunion with his siblings, dearly beloved wife and Mom in heaven. - Christine
