Obituary of Bernice Evelyn Stewart/Marks

(nee Cushing)

March 29, 1933 - April 13, 2021

Bernice passed away peacefully in her home at Beechwood Manor.

Today we her family are not mourning our loss but celebrating the amazing journey she had in life. Our mom knew she was so fortunate to be surrounded by so much love of family and friends.

Forever in our hearts and always remembered by her daughters,

Gail Brooks (Rick Carline), Jan Marks (Murray Haus); grandchild Michelle Cooper;

great-grandchildren Damian, Zoe, Hailie, and Evelyn. She was predeceased by her parents John and Edna (Oakley) Cushing; son Larry Marks; granddaughter Alina Marks; husbands Walter Stewart, Gerald Marks.

Our Family would like to express a very special thank you to Dr. Guzar and staff for the fantastic heartfelt care mom was given. Thank you also to the staff, caregivers, nurses and friends at Beechwood Manor, Palliative Care Team and St. Mary’s Hospital.

Cremation has already taken place, as per Bernice’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.
