Obituary of Betty Green

(nee Agnew)

Betty passed away at Trinity Village Care Centre, Kitchener, on Friday, May 14, 2021, at the age of 78.

Beloved wife of the late Ed Green (2015) for 53 years. Loving mother of Donna Wamsley and husband Barry and Paul Green and wife Sherry. Proud grandmother of Dianne Speaker and Matthew Speaker and great-grandmother of Quinton and Ryan.

Predeceased by her parents, Norm and Elizabeth Agnew.

Betty will be truly missed by family and many friends who loved her so very much. We will miss her fantastic sense of humour.

The family wishes to thank the staff and caregivers at both St. Jacobs Place and Trinity Village Care Centre for all their compassion and care during her illness.

Cremation will take place and a private family committal service and interment will be held at St. Matthews Lutheran Cemetery, Conestogo. A celebration of Betty’s life will follow at a later date.
