Ruth passed away peacefully on July 6, 2021.

Ruth is survived by the love of her life Gary; her children Jeremy, Jonathan (Carrisa), Jamie (Sharon), Amanda (Bayo), and Jesse (Jannet); her grandchildren Noah, Kaila, Alex, Jacob, Kairrys, Malakai, Zeriyah, and Kiarra; her sister Marg Agar and her niece and nephew Cara and Miles Agar.

Ruth is predeceased by her parents John and Marie Schwanz and her brother Donald Schwanz.

Ruth will always be remembered by her faith in the Lord, her love for animals and her family. For her infinite strength, and pure kindness for everyone she encountered. She loved spending time with her grandkids and going on walks and scenic country drives.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. To attend the service, please wear a face mask, observe physical distancing, and RSVP to the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
