Judy and I loved listening to pop music from the 1960's and 70's. While she was at Wellington Terrace, I often brought videos of these old hit songs performed by the original artist for us to watch on her TV. And she enjoyed clips from the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. In this picture we are enjoying a musical performance at the Terrace by musicians that visit facilities such as this.
Judy loved social gatherings. A couple of times Judy and I went to the annual Ribfest in Royal City Park in Guelph. When Judy liked something, her stomach became a bottomless pit. She could not seem to get enough ribs. One time at the Ribfest, another woman in a wheel chair came up to us. It was someone Judy knew but not fondly. Judy made it clear to me I was not to pay attention to this woman. Judy looked like she had daggers in her eyes. I had never before or since seen her act any way but friendly to people. I was smart enough to do as I was told.
