Judy loved social gatherings. A couple of times Judy and I went to the annual Ribfest in Royal City Park in Guelph. When Judy liked something, her stomach became a bottomless pit. She could not seem to get enough ribs. One time at the Ribfest, another woman in a wheel chair came up to us. It was someone Judy knew but not fondly. Judy made it clear to me I was not to pay attention to this woman. Judy looked like she had daggers in her eyes. I had never before or since seen her act any way but friendly to people. I was smart enough to do as I was told.
