Obituary of Pauline Schwartzentruber

After a full life, Pauline passed away at Claire Hills Retirement Residence  on Sunday August 1, 2021 at the age of 93.   Pauline was raised in Bridgeport and was one of 5 children.  Beloved wife of the late Arthur with whom she was married to for 61 years. Loving mother of Tom Schwartzentruber and his wife Nadine, and proud grandma of Michael (Claire) and Laura (Lucas). She is survived by her sister Connie Kreig (Jim deceased)  of Guelph and  brother Roy Martin (Janice) of Bloomingdale.   She was predeceased by sisters Catherine Woolner (Clive) and Mildred Carter.   Pauline was executive secretary at Kaufman Footwear and retired in 1992.   During her employment at Kaufman’s she worked for numerous combinations of Kaufman’s and 3 generations of Weber’s.

She was an accomplished knitter who sold her baby outfits at the Waterloo Farmers Market for many years.    She also was an accomplished quilter.

Cremation has taken place.  Private services will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Memorial Cemetery.
