Glenn Francis Brogden of Waterloo, Ontario passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, August 27, 2021 at the age of 75.

A private funeral service for family will be held at Erb and Good Family Funeral Home on Thursday, September 2, 2021.

Glenn was born and raised in St. Mary's, Ontario.  Glenn's life was based on hard work, integrity, compassion, love, laughter and fun.  Glenn worked for London Life his entire career, enjoying the benefit of Freedom Fifty-Five.  After retirement from London Life, Glenn continued to work as a financial planner.  Glenn was an avid golfer who enjoyed the company of friends and strangers on the golf course.  Glenn had a charitable heart, supporting many local causes, especially the United Way.  Glenn served as the United Way's annual campaign chair during the 2000 campaign.  Glenn was a big fan of Detroit sports teams: the Red Wings, Tigers and even the Lions.  What Glenn enjoyed most in life was spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters.  There were always smiles and laughs all around when Glenn was with his two best girls. 

Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda Brogden, his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Meika Brogden, his adoring granddaugthers, Ayah and Ivey Brogden, his best pal, Tucker, and his brother, Mike (Joan).  Glenn was predeceased by his father, Thomas Brogden, mother, Val Brogden and sister, Kim Becker. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Grand River Hospital Foundation - Freeport - Specialized Mental Health Unit - Geriatric Inpatient Program.  Donations can be arranged through Erb & Good Family Funeral Home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.
