I am deeply saddened by this shocking news. Thank you so much for reaching out to me in your
time of sorrow. I was thinking of Larry last Saturday as I washed the garage floor at North
Dr. and moved the cardboard he placed along the wall to protect your car. I thought how good
it would be to visit once again. With many blessings, Richard

Sincere condolences to everyone. Our hearts are heavy but great memories of Larry and our times together bring such smiles to our faces. He lives on. Perhaps now he can explain to my Mom why he cut that hose with her good knife at Victoria Beach, We will be with you virtually on Saturday Dorothy. Much love, Gary and Carol

I met Larry several years ago at the Queen's Green Community Garden. I took an immediate liking to him, quickly finding out about his Mennonite Heritage and his Manitoba upbringing. After that initial meeting, it was frequent encounters at the garden. Larry noticed what needed to be done and did not wait for others to complete the task. He was a "starter" and a "finisher."
I was saddened to hear of Larry's death. I will miss his warm smile, friendly greeting, and our spontaneous conversations.
Thinking of you, Dorothy, and you family, during this very difficult time.

I have wonderful memories of long talks and much laughter in Apt A at 123 North Dr. Kitchener when
Larry and Dorothy arrived for long visits with their Family often on their way to spend the winter and early
spring in the a favorite sunny destination.
Larry's laughter and easy smile always added a unique quality to every visit or good morning.
Love and blessings to Dorothy , Andrea and Family,

I had the privilege and pleasure of volunteering with Larry at the Community Support Connections garden in Breslau. We first made our acquaintance last summer. When I found out he would be returning along with Dorothy for another garden season this year I was delighted and looked forward to his/their return.
Larry, you were a true gentleman always with a beautiful warm smile and a willingness to do whatever the task was at hand on any given Thursday. I did not tell you enough how much I appreciated the work you did and your contribution you made to the garden. “She” and I will miss your presence.
Every time I plant the four o’clock flowers I will no longer think of just my grandfather but you as well.
