Douglas, Raymond “Ray”

June 30, 1932 – October 16, 2021

Peacefully, passed away at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the age of 89 years.  Beloved husband for over 72 years of Gloria. Loving father of Barb Cuthbert (Larry), Larry Douglas (Marg) and Derek Douglas (Donna).  Cherished grandfather of Amanda, Bonnie, Dan, Cassandra, Ben & Katie and to 7 great grandchildren.  Survived by his siblings Gord Douglas and Pat Lamouri (Norm).  Predeceased by his grandson Luke and siblings Tom and Bill. 

Ray was an avid sports fan & participant. He enjoyed playing cards with family & friends, especially with the grandchildren.  Family was Ray's number one priority and was the source of special joy. He was a member of both the Navy Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 530.

A Celebration of Ray’s life will be held at the KW Naval Association, 315 Weber Street N., Waterloo on Saturday, October 30, 2021 beginning at 2pm.
