Mohamed Ally, known as Ally, passed away at the K-W Campus of Grand River Hospital on Monday, October 18, 2021, at the age of 74.
Loving husband of Lynn Delion. Dear father of seven children, Penny (Gary) Nash, Peggy (Darren) Detweiler, Holly (Rob) Shaw, Doug Fullard, Sangeeta Gaindallal, Tariq Ally (Swahara), and Inshan Ally. Grandfather of nine grandchildren, Bryan Fullard (Amanda), Courtney Rawson (Mark), Raquel Murray (Geoff), Ashley Decosomo (Justin), Destiny Gamer (Josh), Sarina Roberts, and three grandchildren in Guyana. Great-grandfather of 16 great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers Sheik Ally, Liquat Ally, Fazil Ally, sisters Shireen Hoosain (Dean), Noreen Mahadeo (Harry deceased), Zerry Tamraz (Victor), brothers-in-law Rodger Delion (Gladys deceased), Terry Delion (Patricia), sisters-in-law Gail Choma, Patty Schippers (Jerry deceased), and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his sister Shymoon Kahn.
Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 3:30 p.m. A reception will immediately follow in the funeral home’s Fireside Room. A private family interment will be held at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
