Head, Lorne Wayde.

Passed away suddenly at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

Lorne is survived by his son Bryan Head, his daughter Kelly Head, granddaughter Mikaylee Eichler, his brother Joe Head and his sister Maryanne Head.

He was born in Lewisporte, Newfoundland on April 20,1965 to Bert & Jane Head.

He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family talking, laughing and sharing a good meal and a couple of drinks.  He adored his granddaughter and took every opportunity to spend time and create memories together.  He spent years serving in The Royal Canadian Navy, which he was extremely honored and proud of.  He was a man who wanted to serve his country and did so without hesitation.  Lorne was always someone you would go to if you needed a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to vent to.  He would always be there with open arms and went above and beyond to make people smile and laugh.  His laugh was completely infectious, you couldn’t help but join in when you heard him laughing.  Lorne will always be remembered as a very kind, funny and loving man.  He was someone who would go to the ends of the earth for those he loved.  Once he considered you family you were family for life.  He will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to meet him.
