Obituary of Eugene Nikiforeak
Peacefully passed away at Grand River Hospital on Saturday, November 13, 2021 in his 75th year.
Survived by his loving sister Maria Bouda and predeceased by his parents, Theodor and Katherine Nikiforeak. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews John (Gerlinda) Bouda, Henry (Karin) Bouda, Frank Bouda (friend Lisa) as well as extended family.
Born in Austria, Eugene arrived in Canada as a child in the early 1950’s. He was employed as a draftsman for the Canadian Blower and Forge and worked there until his retirement. His hobbies included working on his computer and electronics. Eugene enjoyed family gatherings, simple pleasures and always had a smile on his face.
Thanks to ICU staff Dr. Plaxton, Dr. Nethcott, nurses Amy, Catherine and Tina for their special care.
At Eugene’s request, there will be no visitation. A private family gathering will take place with cremation to follow.
