Michele Jeannine Langlois

1939 - 2021

Michele passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital on November 12, 2021.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of over 40 years, Ferenc (Frank) Szigetvari, brothers Jean-Claude Langlois (Andree),  Jean-Francois Langlois (Brigitte), nephews Sebastien, Emmanuel, niece Isabelle and their families in France, step-daughter Marta Danko (Krisztian Danko) and grandchildren Annette and Bence Danko of California. 

Michele was born in Vecqueville, France.  She loved the Wisteria that grew around her home in Spring and the Fall blooming crocuses which reminded her of a song she sang as a child.  Appreciation and gratitude is extended to the caregivers of the 6th floor Surgical Unit and ICU of Grand River Hospital who provided such compassionate care to Michele.

She remains in the hearts of special friends, neighbours and former colleagues who will miss her sparkling personality, her caring nature, her spirit, her love of fashion, the love for her family and her ‘joie de vivre’.  We are grateful for having her in our lives.

A Celebration of Michele’s Life will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street S., Waterloo on Wednesday, November 24,2021 at 2pm. with visitation beginning at 1:30pm.  Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP through the funeral home www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445. Michele est décédée paisiblement à l’hôpital Grand River le 12 novembre 2021. Son mari de plus de trente ans Ferenc (Frank) Szigetvari, ses frères Jean-Claude Langlois (Andree), Jean-François Langlois (Brigitte), ses neveux Sébastien, Emmanuel, sa nièce Isabelle et leurs familles en France, sa belle-fille Marta Danko, son gendre Krisztien Danko et ses petits-enfants Annette et Bence Danko de Californie se souviennent d’elle avec amour.  

Elle reste dans le cœur de ses amis, voisins et anciens collègues qui regretteront sa personnalité étincelante, sa nature bienveillante, son amour de la mode, l’amour de sa famille et sa joie de vivre.  Nous sommes reconnaissants de l’avoir dans nos vies.
