Passed away the fourth day of December 2021 suddenly but peacefully.

Survived by his Mama Rebecca, Daddy Brad and the apple of his eye, Trinity, Grammy and Grampy, Auntie Ursula, Auntie Laura, and Uncle Jonny. Predeceased by his loving Nani.

Hayden was the light of everyone’s life. From the minute he was born he was my special little man. But in some ways, he belonged to all of us. No one could brighten a room like Hayden could. His sweet and often hilarious chatter, big beautiful smile, and the smirkiest of smirks could make anyone’s heart swell. He had endless love for everyone who was a part of his life. He may not have been verbal, but he spoke to everyone in his own special way. He couldn’t have been loved more by all. No matter what Hayden was going through he always could give a smile, especially to anyone blonde as we all know. He had many joys in his life, Elmo was his idol, he loved watching Disney with Mama and Aunt Laura. Loved Star Wars like his uncle Jonny and Star Trek with his Daddy Brad. He loved water; the beach was one of his favourite places. His love for monkeys was pure and adorable, he loved animals and swimming and going on endless adventures. He loved music and going to the theatre and that was such a big part of our life together. He had his own special relationships with his peers at school, and loving teachers at school. He may not have been with us for a long time but was definitely here for a good time. He will be missed more than words can say but will always be with us in everything we do, as he was in life. Durdle durdle little man. Sleep tight.

Special thanks to the EMTs and hospital teams who tried everything they could. We are grateful for the support during the most horrible of times. Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of Hayden’s life over the years. From family to friends, EAs to amazing teachers. My special needs community of friends has been invaluable to us over the years. Thank you for your endless love and support. And to everyone who has briefly crossed Hayden’s path in little moments in life, those moments have made a life that’s not easy full of joy and treasured moments to remember. Hayden will be missed more than words can say and I am so grateful for the outpouring of love and support.
