It is with great sorrow we announce the passing away of our beloved Josh Germann. Josh left this world suddenly on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Josh grew up in Ayr with a short time spent in Drumbo and Elmira, returning to Ayr which is where he considered home.

When family now gathers, he will be greatly missed by parents, Dave and Janet Germann, siblings, Kevin (Melissa) Germann, David (Kayla) Germann, Kassandra (Mark Smith) Germann, Nieces and Nephews, Evelyn, Charlie, David, Leela, Grandparents, Stan & Louise Andrie. He is predeceased by Grandparents, Robert and Anne Germann.

He was provided the opportunity to be educated and trained in the capacity of Millwright by Elmira Pump, and recently was excited about his position at Unilock and continuing in the Millwright direction.

Josh was devoted to family and embraced the role of Uncle. Always our Champion – was the first to want to take up arms to defend and protect family and friends.

Josh was never one to pass on the opportunity to hang with family and friends. Whether it was off roading with jeeps in mud, playing sports, getting his groove on or chilling by campfires, Josh always wanted to have people or dogs in his company.

A private family ceremony will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 4 p.m.  Family and friends are invited to view the livestream of the funeral service on Josh’s online obituary page (www.erbgood.com) Condolences for the family and donations to Ayr Minor Hockey or a charity of choice may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.

Josh’s loyalty was unmatched and his mischievous grin will be forever etched on our hearts.
