It is with great sadness that the family of Helene Fast (Neufeld) announces her passing on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the age of 88 years. Helene was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, Jacob (October 5, 2020). Helene will be lovingly remembered by her children, Irene, Werner (Sharon), Art (Jane), Reinhard (Lori). She will be fondly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, Tony (Charlene), Nicki (Ryan), Christine (Ross), Melanie (Dave), Lindsay (Ryan), Steph (Adam), Amberlee (Ryan), Justin (Kelly), Brittany, Courtney (Jeff) as well as her 8 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Caterina, Cameron, Kailey, Lucas, Brooklyn, Ryker, and Claire.

Predeceased by her parents, Adolph and Aganeta, and her twin brother, Herbert, and brothers Heinrich, Leo, Peter, Frank, and sisters Elsa and Maria.  She is survived by her siblings, Neta, Luise, Ira and Alex.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation and a private family service will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 12 o'clock.  Private interment at Parkview Cemetery. The service will be available via livestream on Helene’s obituary page at www.erbgood.com.

The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Mennonite Home (especially Trudy) and the staff of the 6th floor at GRH for their care of Helene during her brief time there.
