He was predeceased by his wife Jean, who went ahead to set up the jazz club. Best Dad ever to Cathy and Ken (Elizabeth). Brother of Ada Hall (Gord, deceased) and the late Jim (Dorothy, deceased). Special Grampa to Heather Barkley (David) and Andrea. Very special Great-Grampa to Cecilia, Russell, Dylan, Jacob and Stuart. Dad was a loving husband and father dedicated to family, home, music and dancing. He enjoyed gardening and carving and he shared a passion for traditional and Dixieland Jazz with our Mom. They were founding members of the Kitchener-Waterloo Dixieland Jazz Club.

Grateful thanks to the staff at Terrace On The Square retirement home in Waterloo who were compassionate and tireless in their care. Thanks also to the palliative care unit of Care Partners for their care and compassion.
