Obituary of Dorothy Assad

Peacefully passed away at Lanark Heights LTC on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 102 years.  Beloved wife of the late Thomas “Norm” Assad (1998). Dear mother of Norman and his wife Marcia Tillman Assad of Florida and Sam and his wife Marie Laurene of Waterloo.  Mother-in-law to Sharon Thomas.  Loving Sitty of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Predeceased by her daughter Deborah Wilson, her son Robert and grandson Paul Wilson, her 3 brothers and 2 sisters. 

Dorothy enjoyed travelling with her husband Norm and played golf for many years.  She operated Stationary and Travel businesses and spent most of her life in Northern Ontario.

Cremation will take place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
