Obituary of Patricia Irene Brooks
February 21, 1954 – December 27, 2021
Patricia passed away peacefully on December 27, 2021 in her 68th year. Patricia was pre-deceased by her parents Jack (1999) and Mary (2001). She is survived by her sisters Barbara Phillipps and husband John, and Anita Brooks Kirkland and husband Derek, nieces Karen (Steve) and Janet (Bjorn), and great nieces and nephew Kaitlyn, Saskia, and Theodore. We also share our loss with Patricia’s lifelong friend Janice, whose visits always gave Tish such joy.
Patricia – Pat to her friends and Tish to her family – grew up in Ajax, and continued to live there until 2014. For the past few years she has lived at Trinity Village Care Centre in Kitchener, where she received excellent care in a loving community. Until the pandemic curtailed activities, she continued her lifelong love of choral singing as a member of a local seniors’ choir.
Tish’s life will be celebrated by the family when we can gather together in the spring. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Village Care Centre or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
