After Business College, she was employed at Purity Dairy in Saskatoon for 15 years; and during this period, she was involved in Union and Political activities.

She moved to Kitchener, Ontario in 1968 and was employed at Maple Lane Dairy – later Beatrice Foods Inc. – until retiring as Office Manager in 1983.

She is survived by her sister, Judi Ballah, her brother, Jim Toms and her niece, Rebecca Fieldhouse. She is predeceased by her spouse John, her parents Anne and Jack Toms and her sisters Michele and Candice. Will forever remain in the hearts of her extended family in Saskatoon.

The old “Guess Who” song “Going Back to Saskatoon” well describes Jackie’s final destination.
