Allow me to begin by offering our deepest sympathies to Gina, all of my uncles, Aunty Bibi and my mother Zaira!
It is with deep sadness that we cannot be there during this time. Uncle Dean was an Uncle that made you laugh and always had a new, funny name for you. During my years with him, he was always pleasant and filled with laughter. He came from a family that was hard working, and cared for others. He was that JIMMY! A fighter that was full of energy and never gave up. Now heaven waits for you Uncle Dean. Rest In Peace. Lit, Dave, William and Elliot.

It is with deep regret and sorrow that Derek and I are unable to attend uncle Dean’s funeral tomorrow in person due to illness.
Our heartfelt sympathies to Aunty Gina , Lenore and family at such a sad time.
As one many of nieces, I fondly remembered when I was growing up in South America that uncle Dean was one of the most hard working tailor fixing leather seats on cars at Albion Front. At parties Uncle Dean would break out in a dance after a few drinks much to our delight and my grandmother would wave him away when he tried to get her to dance!
Many years later in Canada when the leather in my car was coming off I called uncle Dean and he offered to fix it for me. I stayed for awhile and we shared some laughs. the last time I saw uncle Dean was at Lenord’s wedding and it was great to see him all dressed up , happy and dancing !
My mom is heartbroken at the loss of her brother ( uncle Dean ) and we are all sad at such a sudden and unexpected passing. We pray that you RIP and reunite with your parents and beloved siblings in heaven.
With deepest sympathies and warm regard to all the family and friends that are mourning that loss of uncle Dean we send our prayers to heal us.
Nazie and Derek

Those we love, don’t go away.
They walk beside us everyday.
Unseen,unheard, but always near.
Still loved, still missed,
And always there.
Rest in eternal peace Uncle Din.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved Uncle Din. Even though he's gone , he will always be with us.
Uncle Din was a very lucky man. He had amazing parents, brothers and sisters. He was loved by all who knew him.
The last couple of years was very rough. He battled through his health issues with the help and support of his loving wife Gina
and son Leonard.
We thank you Auntie Gina , Leonard and daughter- in- law Christina for always being there , through better and worse
day after day.

To Gina and Family,
Our sincere condolences to you and your family. Uncle Dino will be greatly missed.
We have fond memories of him as children listening to the many stories he shared. He filled the room with laughter and conversation about current events. We especially enjoyed listening to him reminisce of the good old days.
During this difficult time, our thoughts and sympathy are with you.
May he rest in peace.

With deepest sorrow and sadness that I write this tribute to you Uncle Din.
You were a friendly, kind, jovial uncle. Always, a smile on your face.
I remembered clearly our conversations over the phone of you being so happy talking about the Lord and mentioning quotes from the Bible and with that you always gave me advice to take care of myself and my boys.
Uncle Din showed true strength and determination during his health crisis, he did not give up.
Colin, Sean and I visited you a few years ago and we had a very nice visit. You were so lively when people were around. We continued communication over the phone and you always asked when we will visit again? With Covid we could not and most of all it was not safe for you.
I have clear memory of you when I was a young child; moving from West Bank to Berbice. We were living at Aunt Haroon’s house where you worked downstairs as a tailor. You told stories, joked and we laughed. Then there was the pet goat that was mischievous as he would mess around with your tools. I enjoyed watching you cutting the leatherette and effortlessly making car seats and they were done to perfection A+.
May the Lord give you eternal comfort and peace.
Gina, my deepest sympathy to you. May you find comfort and strength in the Lord.
Raymond and Christina, you both did your best in assisting Uncle Din. This shows true family values.
Blessings,
June
