Keith I am so sorrow to hear of Jeanette's passing. I would like to leave this thought with you that expresses what I couldn't say any better.
When Someone Dies, Their Spirit Lives On in Us.
We can’t hug them or see them with our eyes.
But we can still feel them in our hearts.
That brings me comfort.
I hope it does for you too…
When we love someone, they become an indelible force in our lives, even after they’re gone.
We remember the way they told a joke, wore their hair, and walked into a room.
The littlest things will trigger memories of the sound of their voice, their scent, the times we spent with them.
We recall how they dealt with hard situations when we are faced with the same things.
We think about them for no reason at all: what would they say right now?
We will always wonder: are they watching over us?
Do they know how much we miss them?
Even though we’ll never see loved ones who’ve passed on walk through the front door again.
I hope you can find peace with the knowledge that you’ll always have a part of them with you.
When we love someone, their spirit lives forever in our hearts.

My deepest condolences to you, Keith, Mary Kathryn, and David. I never had the fortune to meet Jeanette, but I feel I know her so well through working with Mary- Kathryn and hearing so many stories about her. Tales of puzzles conquered and neighbourhood rodents. Of cookie making marathons and the planning for the church bazaar. Of all of the selfless outreach work and volunteering she gave her community. Mainly I know that that she was a loving, kind-hearted soul who put family and friends first. I feel lucky to have known even these things and wish you safe passage to the time when these memories can be enjoyed again with less pain. My love and sympathy to you all. Kait Taylor

In memory of Mrs.Nelson....
A treasure to all who have known her,
warm and welcoming, kind and nurturing,
optimistic and reassuring....
She's always full of fun ...
Whether it be a friendly chat.. counting taxis...a game of "I spy..."
a happy face hiding beneath a party plate...
she can always bring a smile to your face.
She always had a tale to tell... helping us create fond memories,
She's known to bring out the best in you.....
.....................................a friend to everyone.
We'll always feel her love...

Most people have a special teacher from childhood. For me, that special teacher was, “ Miss Rehberg”. She was my first and second grade teacher at Wellesley District Public School in 1967 -1969 and introduced me to the concept of formal learning. Her influence on my young life was such, that I developed a lifelong love of reading. For that, I am forever grateful. May your memories during this time of mourning bring you comfort.
Rest eternal grant to her, O Lord:
And let light perpetual shine upon her.

Jeanette was a lifelong friend from way back in Grade 1!! She was always quiet, kind and gentle and a special person. As we became adults, got married and started our careers and families, we didn't see each other. We had also moved out of the area, which was a major contributor to that.
When we met up again some years ago it was as though time had stood still! It was so wonderful catching up with each other's lives and feeling so totally comfortable. I will always treasure these times we had together in our later years.
I will miss Jeanette with her ever-present smile and warm personality. She was a gift from God who has a permanent place in my heart and memory. Marlene Baker

I first got to know Jeanette long ago during our elementary school days in the same class for all 8 grades in Heidelberg where she was always a model student both acedemically and socially. Our other classmates will remember our disasterous Grade 4 where the majority of students, myself included, were very bad and disrespectful of our teacher and needed a strapping, often numerous times. At the end of this memorable year, Jeanette was easily on the very short list of students that didn't need to be disciplined at all! She displayed the same personality as an adult where our paths crossed again at Sandowne PS where both our kids attended and we met as parents. We also frequently exchanged a friendly smile and wave when Jeanette visited her parents in Heidelberg. Jeanette, in true character, was involved in organizing our Grade 8 class reunions decades after our Grade 8 graduation.

To Jeanette’s family,
Jeanette was always a wonder to know as a supply teacher at Linwood P.S..
It was like she was one of the Staff being there often and she was.
My students in Gr. 6, Senior Art or Family Studies always were glad to see her, her smile and have her teaching them.
Jeanette was a very kind, patient and wonderful listener. She was a constant star!
I enjoyed my chats with her when we would have time to talk!
Very, very sorry of your loss of this wonderful lady!
