Obituary of Elaine Yvonne Bulmer

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Forest Heights LTC.

Cherished wife of Thomas for 64 years. Loving mother to Brad (Dee) Bulmer, Gail Twomey, Jeff (Jan) Bulmer, Rob Bulmer, and Michelle (Brian) Capling. Loved by her grandchildren Bradley, Wyatt, Andrea, Kevin, Emily, Laura, David, Kate, Jaime and Iain, and her great grandchildren as well. Elaine is survived by her brothers Terry Kropf, Roger Kropf, Michael (Cleo) Kropf and sister-in-law Holly Kropf. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Peggy (Linseman) Kropf, her brother Richard Kropf and her sister-in-law Helen Kropf. 

After graduating from St. Mary’s High School, Elaine worked for Bell Canada as a switchboard operator, progressing to training new employees. Tom and Elaine married in July 1957. A year later she stayed home to raise her family. Provincial parks were summer rituals for the family. There were many wonderful times up north. Years later, Elaine took a part time job at The Keyman, where she found her best friends, the 5 “Keyladies” Tom and Elaine loved to travel to Acapulco, Mexico, in the winter and have had many fun times there with friends. Next stop, the Pearly Gates of Heaven, and right there is her best friend Connie to welcome Elaine. The journey continues!

Visitation will be held at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, January 18 from 11 – 1 p.m. The service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, January 18 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau.
