Obituary of Mildred Gardiner

 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Millie Gardiner at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener on Thursday January 13th, 2022, in her 86th year. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 62 years, Harry Gardiner (2019).

 

Loving mother to Sandy Gardiner and Linda Mark (Lloyd). Proud grandmother to Lindsay and Ryan Mark.

 

Survived by brothers Hubert and Geoff Guy and numerous in-laws who have been very supportive.

 

Predeceased by Joyce Gagnon, Sid Guy, and Doreen Guy-Wastell. 

 

Born in the small town of Kinnear’s Mills, Quebec, she moved to Kitchener, Ontario as a pre-teen. Millie had many interests over the years from square dancing, volunteering, bowling, gardening, euchre and especially bridge. She loved cooking and brought friends and families together and ended meals with her homemade pies. Her favourite time of year was Christmas which included decorating, making Christmas cakes, and gathering with as many people as possible. She will be truly missed.

 

A ceremony with immediate family has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
